Blok table grills combine handcrafted British steel fabrication with serious live fire cooking performance. Built in Derbyshire and trusted by chefs, the range is designed around charcoal cooking, heat retention and tactile outdoor cooking experiences centred around flame and embers.
At Eat Alfresco, we supply the Blok grill range with expert product guidance, fast UK delivery and support selecting the right grill and accessories for your cooking style, outdoor space and entertaining needs.
The Blok range includes compact tabletop grills, larger entertaining models and handcrafted steel accessories designed for live fire cooking over charcoal and embers. Each grill is engineered to deliver strong heat retention, precise fire control and exceptional durability for long term outdoor use.
The Hako grill is ideal for compact social grilling and high heat charcoal cooking, while the Naka and Naka Wide models provide more flexibility for everyday outdoor cooking and entertaining. The larger Kita and Kita Wide grills create expanded cooking areas suited to chef style live fire cooking and multi zone heat management.
When choosing a handcrafted steel grill, it is important to consider cooking style, outdoor space and the type of live fire experience you want to create. Blok grills are designed for customers looking for more than a standard barbecue, combining craftsmanship, atmosphere and serious charcoal cooking performance.
Arrange your charcoal into a small mound or use a charcoal chimney starter for easier lighting. Natural firelighters are recommended, while lighter fluid should be avoided as it can affect flavour. Once the charcoal develops a light coating of white ash, spread it evenly across the base and begin cooking.
High quality lumpwood charcoal is ideal for most Blok cooking setups, offering strong heat, cleaner combustion and excellent flavour. For longer cooking sessions or more controlled high heat grilling, hardwood charcoal or Binchotan charcoal can also work well.
Once the grill has cooled completely, remove excess ash and brush the cooking surface clean after each use. Stainless steel and exterior surfaces can be wiped with warm water and a soft cloth to help maintain the finish and keep the grill ready for regular use.
Blok grills are built for outdoor use, but using a protective cover and keeping the grill sheltered where possible will help preserve its appearance. For longer storage, remove charcoal and ash, clean the grill fully and store it in a dry place.
The heavy duty steel construction helps absorb and retain heat across the cooking surface, creating stable cooking temperatures and strong charcoal performance. Vermiculite lining further improves heat efficiency and helps maintain consistent live fire cooking conditions.
Airflow helps control charcoal temperature and burn rate. Blok grills use airflow at the front and rear to support natural combustion, helping charcoal burn efficiently while giving greater control over heat, smoke and live fire cooking performance.
Every Blok Table Grill BBQ is handcrafted in Britain using robust steel construction, precision air flow control and a vermiculite lined fire chamber. Compare the range below to find the ideal grill for your outdoor cooking style and entertaining needs.
